I lost my steam key. Is there any way I could recover it?

How did you get the key? Did you buy it originally through the factorio.com website?

Then try to pair it with your steam account. Log in on the factorio website and click on your account name on the top right, then there should be a button on bottom of the opening page where you can do that.
