If you're using the steam client, go to the steam library > right click factorio > properties > betas > drop down menu > experimental. If the drop down menu doesn't work please restart steam and try again and it should work. If you're using the standalone client go to the main menu > options > other > enable experimental updates. then go to main menu > about > check updates.

Will I get unbanned at any point?

To be honest, I can't do anything about the lag. I can't just upgrade to a better computer and connection as if I had an infinite budget. Gotta be considerate to the less fortunate guys.

If you can't handle it, then you might as well have a rule that says "11. Have a good computer and connection or you will be banned."

Added the rule. Everyone wants to play MP with as little lag as possible and I'm here to do my best to make that happen. You're not the first person that's been banned for this reason and you certainly won't be the last. We usually don't run a crazy super base but if your PC can't run 60/60 then I'm sorry. When 0.13 comes out if it has significant optimizations I'd be more than willing to unban you to give it another go. Until then I wish you the best of luck

Here`s my ping reply from your ip, i think it`s ok.I do have a problem tho. After the map has been downloaded it gives me this error:

Is there a fix ? I have installed factorio again after i deleted the factorio files from %appdata% but it still gives me that error. Can someone help me pls ? Thanks from advance

Added Jail script to put off griefers

You cannot pick up or upgrade entities other than resources for the first 10 minutes of game play, if you do you will be put in jail for a time.

Once the clearance time has finished you can continue as normal.

On a new map the clearance time is only 1 minute for the first 10 minutes of the maps life.

The current map running is also customised to be train friendly.

I can't connect to the server anymore. I tried connecting after a server restart yesterday, and in middle of downloading map I seem to have gotten booted, and after that I couldn't connect.

Server has moved locations! Please be aware that your ping will change and may or may not determine if you can play here. We're now located in Los Angeles, California. I'm sorry for anyone this may inconvenience but our server provider had a problem and this was the cheapest/easiest way to keep things running for now.
