M-Hm. This.Smarty wrote:never understood why people always go in this F5 spamming hype train
I have the forum on my feed, so get a notice when a thread is updated or created. Spam F5? Why? Unnecessary, wasteful.

I have burner RSS, you shove coal into it and it mashes F5 on your keyboard. Very ecological!

Today's FFF is late... I have plans that I was going to cancel if 0.13 came out, but those plans are in 15 minutes and I still don't know!

Re: Friday Facts #140 - Soon
You know, that's a little misleading, half the topic is about 0.13, and you post that, it makes anyone reading it think 0.13 is online.brunzenstein wrote:its online !

Re: Friday Facts #140 - Soon
Devs mentioned before that train stretching won't be noticeable but when I'm looking at that gif, I see it very clearly.
It's the most noticeable on "engine" in train head. It's because that part have many little parts that amplify stretching effect.
Probably in game nobody will care about it and most of the players will get used to it but still it's looks weird. I'm curious how it will looks like for long trains when each wagon will also stretch.

Except for my eyes getting dizzy I dont see any streching effect.
I only notice that the pipes at the front look bigger because of the rotation. But that lloks like a simple 3d effect to me.

I think this is one of the things which are only noticeable because we *know* them to be there. And if nobody would have told you, I guess you wouldn't have noticed... Especially since later in game you will most likely not zoom in that much onto a train.Neotix wrote:Devs mentioned before that train stretching won't be noticeable but when I'm looking at that gif, I see it very clearly.

Probably yes but "what has been seen cannot be unseen".
