I couldn't find any topics relevant to this and I'm not sure how to describe the problem so I took a screenshot.
Only some of the background loads and it gets dragged around as I move. also text seems to appear without a background box behind them (not sure what it is supposed to look like) and the text never goes away.
I have downloaded the demo via Steam onto a Lenovo X201 running Ubuntu 15.10, x64, gnome.
Thanks ahead of time for your help in resolving this issue.

But now I have an issue where no boxes pop up if I pause the screen, move to another workspace (ubuntu workspaces) and then come back. I have to restart the game (after saving).
Re: [demo][linux] Graphics problem?
What kind of boxes do you expect to pop up?

when you click on an item. Like a furnace that needs coal. Also when pressing 'e'.
Re: [demo][linux] Graphics problem?
Huh, haven't seen that problem yet. Workspace switching works just fine for me.
