hi, everybody!
im new to the forums and this is my firts post...
so, acording to the wiki a basic belt has a throughput of 11.98 items/s. An electric miner produces 0.525 items/s. So, a basic belt should support up to 22.81 miners. But again and again i've seen it support more than that.
attached is a screenshot of a belt supporting 25 miners.
any thoughts?
tks!
belt with more throughuotput than what the wiki says?

Re: belt with more throughuotput than what the wiki says?
According to https://imgur.com/a/WytKJ a basic belt has a throughput of 13.33items/second, which would be 25.39 miners at 0.525 items/sec per miner
Re: belt with more throughuotput than what the wiki says?
yes, ty! aparently that'd be more accurate, wouldnt it?
Re: belt with more throughuotput than what the wiki says?
Even the wiki says its 13.393 items/s.

tks, man! well, that explains it!MrDoomah wrote:Even the wiki says its 13.393 items/s.
sorry guys, my bad. I was looking at this:
https://wiki.factorio.com/index.php?tit ... ts/Physics
but apparently is outdated:
"This results have been measured with a special designed factory (a complicated setup to guarantee, that only the running items on a belt are measured and a "timer" which stops the measuring exactly) and Factorio v0.6.x, so this has to be redone."
its kind if hard to read everything when ur eating so much info at once... again, sorry and ty for answering!
Cheers!
