Cannot run in Full Screen on Surface Pro 1 (ext. Monitor)

I am currently playing the game on a Surface Pro 1 connected to an external monitor. When I play the game in Window mode, it works fine. However, when I set the game to "Full Screen", the game appears to offset the window to occupy only a fraction of the screen in the top left with a good bit of the screen cut off. I found one post that suggested turning off the second monitor. I tried that but it did not help. I was running into problems accidentally clicking on the Task Bar while running in a Window. Moving the Taskbar to the top has mostly resolved that issue, and I'm able to play just fine. I mention this here just in case someone has other suggestions as well as to make folks aware of a possible issue. Thanks.
