Can't open png from base error

Can't open png from base error
My friend gets "Error when opening: data\base\graphics/entity/basic-beacon/beacon-radius-vizualisation.png. For reading: no such file or directory" but he has the image there. THis happened in the past and I usually just gave him the image from my copmuter thorugh dropbox and it worked but this time it didn't.

But make sure the path listed in the error message and the path to the image are exactly the same, also check if it is all in lowercase.
If it already happened in the past, was the image gone from his computer then?
EDIT: does he use any mods that would change the beacon radius color? Maybe the error is from the mod and the path to the image is wrong in the mod.

The spelling was my fault, sorry. I meant that he had png files not working before and it just gave him mine but this one was a bit less cooperative. The spelling and path is the same as the one in the error. Would re-installing make any difference?
