User interface on the map editor is confusing
User interface on the map editor is confusing
The user interface on the map editor is too different from the actual game, and the result is confusing. Items are placed with right-click instead of left-click, and removed with X instead of with right-click. Unless you notice the slider to control the inventory limit, it seems liek what would normally transfer one item transfers a full block, while what would normally transfer all you have transfers only one item. The "brush" and "sprayer" tools are also applied to items and buildings, and the results are unpredictable. The sliders for "speed" and "intensity" are counter-intuitive and not explained.

You can rebind the keys.pnrjulius wrote:Items are placed with right-click instead of left-click, and removed with X instead of with right-click.
They are applied to whatever you apply them to, if you don't want to use them, you can always use cursor placement.pnrjulius wrote:The "brush" and "sprayer" tools are also applied to items and buildings,
I think that is the purpose of brush and spray.pnrjulius wrote:the results [of brush and spray] are unpredictable.
Intensity seems to be the amount of entities placed in one instant, Speed determines the frequency of the placements.pnrjulius wrote:The sliders for "speed" and "intensity" are counter-intuitive and not explained.

Thanks for the report,
We know the map editor needs some work,
But for now this isn't really a bug
