The bug causes intermittent crashes, but I've put in an auto-restart.mawnicker wrote:I'm still getting the same error.
The server should now stay above 90% uptime, but unfortunately I can't guarantee %99.9 until the next stable release...

Hi !
I tested the server, It was so strange :p
I spawned on some island, and didn't know what to do so I opened one of the 4 storage chests.
I then arrived on some base, FPS dropped at 10/sec then after a minute went to 30/sec.
I tried to check the diplomacy button, but it's so weird, the menus and options are probably here for something but I have no idea what to do with them. lol
Need a PhD I guess ! 
Can anyone explain ? Also, maybe you should organize a little bit the players.. Maybe try to gather people at the same time during an evening, so people can play together and figure out what to do ?
Anyways, it's a good idea to have a pvp server !

The FPS drop is probably due to being teleported and loading up a bunch of map terrain (you also get assigned to a force, which means your map visibility changes as well).ritonlajoie wrote:Hi !

Perhaps some introductory comments would indeed help, but we're still working out the finer points (and fixing bugs). Anyhow basically Diplomacy functionality is limited by admin privileges, a player that has just joined can only choose a team (click on a chest), set their colour, and see the status of the various factions (if I have time I'll make it so that buttons that don't work for a new player are hidden).
I think the starting area is fairly intuitive, the only thing you can o is select a chest which will teleport you to one of the team locations. Death brings you back to spawn so the choice is not final. This lets new players change teams without having to earn higher level privileges.
Like I said, we're still working out kinks, but having a scheduled event once things are relatively stable sounds like an awesome idea!
