Priority On Logistic Chests

It would be nice if there was a button to set priority on logistic chests. to set from what chest to take first. To for example set higher priority on storage chests

I had a similar idea of assigning logistic robots to certain chests.

I think this is already possible by using circuit networks. Setup smart inserters to take from smart/normal chests to the storage/provider chests and turn the inserters on and off based on information in the network. If the higher priority is empty turn on the lower priority inserters.

I suppose the biggest issue with that is that you can't know what items will be in which storage chests.
