Any way to increase running speed (via console)?
Any way to increase running speed (via console)?
Hello, working on my 2nd mega-factory but frustrated how slowly the player moves around on the map. Rather than wait for power armor, is there any way (via console command) to increase the player's running speed by 25% or 50%?
Re: Any way to increase running speed (via console)?
You can gain a significant boost to your running speed by paving your path with stone blocks or concrete.
Other people seem to setup a rail line and use a train for faster transport around the map.

You can use a command to speed up the game.
/c game.speed = #
1 = default
2 = double speed
3 = triple speed
etc
goes up to 100.
I used it a lot before getting power armor, pretty much any time I had to run somewhere. Set it to 2 or 3, run somewhere, then set it back to 1 to do stuff. Note that is speeds up the *entire game*, so everything speeds up, not just your running speed. You, building production, trains, conveyors, spitters/biters, I think even the timer for hours spent in the factory that is displayed when loading a game.
