Upgrade to accumulators and possibly solar panels.

Post by equitime77 »

I have noticed that to get my factory going I have to have a very large area full of solar panels and another very large area of accumulators. To save space maybe there could be an upgrade to these items so that they could do double the job but in the space of only one item?

I'm against this, the entire point is that they take up a lot of room. In exchange you get a power source that is highly flexible and is free to run.

Only introduce this AFTER they are better balanced.

Cost and space are shitty methods of balancing.

Balancing of solar panels and accumulators is one of the most contrevorsial and endless subject. There is literrally no way to find a way that will please all Factorio players. If you give a try to a search with "solar" "balance", you'll see some topics on the subject..
