After deleting a tanker the oil icon remains

as shown here - no way to get rid of the bob's mod created tanker.

It's not bob's mods - it's Rail Tanker (as written in nice yellow text on mouse over).

Please report this in mods thread - preferably with save and method to reproduce so the issue can be fixed.

You can delete it wusing following comand when it's selected:

/c game.local_player.selection.destroy()

Thank you for your kind assistance - i have no idea how to public a save file - but anyhow - your trick worked even lula claimed it could not do it.
