Defeated without enemy?

Defeated without enemy?
I got killed and all my build vanishes - even thought I never entered a fight as I have set the map to not being attacked - is this normal?

Yes, this is normal: You were run over by your train. Don't ever stand on the tracks.

You probably shot a tree, or maybe ran over it with a car/tank.

Could have been, as I stepped several times in and out of the train. Anyhow, I found a easy way (for a laymen like me) to deconstruct a factory and build a new one on another place not losing all the stuff researched. I pack the whole stuff in a train and use the wagon as a storage as well a mover. Thanks to using the (mod) oil tanker also the pumped oil is not lost when deleting the storage tanks.orzelek wrote:Welcome to Factorio.. where your trains troll you to death

you can still reload an autosave from before you got run over.
