When i try to play the demo's first level, this happens

I downloaded the Mac 0.12.29 (demo) because i really thought this game was good and i wanted to try it. I open the game and everything is normal from what i can see until i start the campaigns first mission and it is all glitchy and weird. i don't know if its meant to be like this but i don't know what to do. the character is normal and fine but the background/ground/basically the map is all messed up. I've tried to re download the game and try the mission again and just start a new game but it doesn't change. please someone help me as i want to play this demo really bad. thanks to those who help.
