Can't find scenarios folder on Mac

Hey guys and gals,

I just got the game a week ago and was absolutely loving it until I came across this one problem. I started a new game and after 12 hours of playing, realized I was on a Island and couldn't gather enough Alien Tech to finish the game. What makes matters worse is I can see loads of Alien bases on distant shores taunting me to no end.

I did some digging up on the internet and apparently you can transfer your saved game into the map editor by copying your saved game into the scenarios folder. I have managed to locate my saved game in "user/Library/Application Support/factario/saves" but can not for the life of me find the scenarios folder.

I've also looked in the folder "user/Applications/Factario/Contents" but it's not there either.

This scenario folder is a very elusive beast.

Please help me find it..

You're my only hope...


PS: If it helps, I'm on a Macbook pro with El Capitan and I've downloaded the game with Steam.

Hey everyone, just an update.

I did a little more digging on this site and found a solution to my problem. There's a mod that allows terraforming inside the game (while you're playing) that I just found and am going to try out right now. This is truly a gift from the gods, thank you so much MudRaker if you're reading this. You have saved my factory's life. The aliens across the seas have no idea what is in store for them.
