Hi!
Right now any items that have already been placed into players/chests inventory can no longer be moved to another position.
You need to completly remove it (Shift+Left Click) and then place it on another location (certain hotbar slot for instance). But this can be a problem if you want to place less than a stack of items. Why? Becouse placing items with CTRL+Click automaticaly decides where those items would be placed which might not be what you desire.
So please alow us to move items that have been already placed in inventory preferably using same mechanizm as ingame.
Also I would like to see similar controll than CTRL+Click that picks up certain number of items and I can then decide to place them where I want. Maybe use SHIFT+Click for this.
Posible bug:
When for instance placing land or water tiles sometimes you need to move the brush so that it is alread two squares into water/land before it will afect the land/water relief but other times this is not necessary. This makes smoth land generation quite dificult at times.
NOTE: Working with show_raw_tile_transtition enabled under debug menu makes this a bit easier but still poses some problems as with that enabled the map looks "blocky" so you don't know what final look would be like.
This are my impresions about Editor so far.

Re: 0.8.5 Some editor improvments and posible bug
Thanks for the reports, the editor functionality still needs to be expanded somehow, though I think it is a good base already (as opposed to the previous editor).
The first thing (with the stacks in the inventory) sounds like a bug to me - it should behave as in game (except for the lmiit on the ctrl+click). As for the second (tiles), still not sure what exactly you mean. However tile placement in the editor is still a bit fuzzy (especially the edges) - this is because of (quite complex) algorithm for tile placements. It can be fixed, though it is relatively small usability feature so we didn't bother. What I think would be more useful instead is tools with fuzzy edges (to produce realistically looking terrain even with bigger sizes).
