Multiplayer via Evolve. Simple to start.

Multiplayer is currently only available in the experimental version. If you want to get it, go to Options->Other and check "Enable experimental updates". Restart the game and you should be prompted with a message to update to 0.11.19, after which you will have the multiplayer option.

This looks like an easy way to get a Multiplayer game setup, although at the moment I'm having a problem where the Client is generating an error and closing when trying to load up. I've tried repairing it, but so far, no luck with it. May have to take a look at it later.

Hi Jesper, are you still interested? I played a game with 2 friends last Tuesday, they speak Danish via Skype and I write Danish via in-game console. We're going to play again next Tuesday 19-22 local time (on extreme difficulty mode - one of the other players insists on it), and will probably play again the week after if we're still having fun. Should I ask my friends if you can join?

I can vouch for Evolve.

Two days ago, I and 2 friends tried to set up our first MP game over Internet, after having played on LAN last month. We spent an hour and a half, if not two full hours, trying to get it to work, trying all sorts of things, but two of our computers could not connect to each other.

We were extremely frustrated, and strongly tempted to give up. Then we tried Evolve, and everything went much more smoothly. So two thumbs up from me!

You can read up the port on the wiki, change it to your own wanted port, or leave it blank to use the default port.

I want to play multiplayer. I can only use 0.11.16 because when ever i try to update it stops and doesn't work. so if theres any 1 willing to play on that version with me it would be appreciated.

The best about us Danes is that we are so different from each other.
Factorio appeals to the individual playstyle. You can play it anyway you like it.

-I've followed the instructions in the guide,
-I've set custom ports and such,
-I think I have done everything in my power to have a multiplayer session...

when i try to make a lobby with evolve it says that me and my friend is offline and we are not able to copy eachothers ip adress, anyone help
