Whenever i shift click stacks of items my game crashes, im not to sure why. Maybe i and shift clicking too fast. However just clicking and dragging them over to my inventory works fine. It was working fine about 2-3 weeks ago.

I just got back have been looking for the log for a while, i have no idea where it is. Honestly though it's not a big deal, i just click and drag things around. I just thought i would let you know.

You can find the log file (factorio-current.log) in
%appdata%\Factorio (usually C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Factorio)

What we would need is to make you crash it by using the shift click, and then post the log file, as the crash details will be included.

I just made it crash again, the most recent save is now this one.

That is weird, there is no crash in the log and the log isn't finished.

I am copying everything over and now when i open the log again it is missing the last 2 lines on what i already copy and pasted.

It might be stack overflow. In that case stack trace would not be generated

Could you record yourself and what you do when it happens? That might be sufficient to reproduce the issue on our end.

I've been able to reproduce this bug accidentally by Shift-Right Clicking into a Gun Turret's ammo slot with a stack of ammo. I'm glad I used the search feature to find this thread. This causes a game crash and then Steam wants to try to update something with the game each time. I've reproduced the issue twice now. I'll attach my log.

Oh awesome thank you! I didn't realize Factorio had updated a few times after 0.13! Time to read some patch notes.
