I have encountered a problem while playing the game. Every 10 to 15 minutes there is a noticeable frame rate drop.
It lasts for about 1 second then plays normally. I have tried to start a new game and the issue remains.
I have included some screen caps of the issue before, during and after occurrence of the problem, and my computer specs.
I thank you in advance for any help and for the excellent game you have built.
OS Windows 7 x64 SP1
CPU Intel i7 950
MoBo Asus Rampage III Formula
Memory 12Gb 1600
GPU Nvidia GTX 580 3Gb SLI
HDD 1Tb hard drive
No overclocking

Are you sure it isn't just the autosave?
Other applications (browsers as well) can randomly slow down the game as well.

You were right. It was the other windows in the background that was causing it.
