Manual update button

It's a simple idea: A button that says: "Search for update" (and does what it describes )

Normally, I have disabled automatic check for update on startup. This so that I can stay on an older version for a while, for example if it's known to be an instable release, without being bothered by the update message every time. I'd like to be able to press a button to search for the update without having to restart

That is a good point and we have wanted to do that for a while. Putting this on our todo list.
