I have a laptop with a Geforce GTX 980 4Gb 16Gb ram, i7 processor, when i play the game on the laptop screen (3k resolution) everything works fine.
When i plug in my 4k screen factorio becomes laggy. Not unplayable but, there is a noticable drop in fps to the point of being very annoying. Even the menu's are slow in their response.
Factorio doesnt seem like a heavy weight when it comes to system requirements, or am i wrong? Are more people experiencing this issue? Is there any information or log file i could supply to help fix this?
Thanks!

If you could load up the game on the 4k monitor and enable the debug timings under the F4 menu and take a screenshot of that it will indicate what's taking up the most CPU time.florissmit10 wrote:I have a laptop with a Geforce GTX 980 4Gb 16Gb ram, i7 processor, when i play the game on the laptop screen (3k resolution) everything works fine.
