I am unable to buy Factorio on factorio.com. All I get is an error message:
Communication with braintree gateway failed, error:
Using a german Master Card. I do not want to buy it on steam.

Okay, thats sad.
IFF you, as a staff member, could assure me, that if I buy the steam version, I will eventually get a drm free version/get an account upgrade too, i would do a purchase on steam. Getting the drm free version is essential for me.

It depends on the country the person is in.
