[0.12.26] MP connection speed

Regardless of someone's personal Internet connection speed (I have 300+ Mbps with my ISP) or their speed to a server, the map download seems limited at just over 1 Mb/s. Perhaps this is a side-effect of the UDP protocol, or perhaps it's just our collective imaginations, but I've heard others say it too.

It is being worked on, and there might be improvements in the 0.12.29 or 0.13
