besides introducing a gold, titanium and diamond mine (useful in industry as well) would give a interesting overview what the factory builds trading value is on the very day - in real time. The value of machinery cold also be included.
Also - the rocket should not get to Moon or Mars but launch commercial satellites for industrial and military which would increase the value of the "Factory" on the stock market as well.
So different builds could be easily and independent compared what their portfolios real street value is

It sounds like it could work well if the stock exchanges are just on a per-server or per-save basis. If it's worldwide you run the risk of having players dominate the whole market, but I assume you didn't mean worldwide anyway.
If multiple planets are ever implemented this could be a fun and useful addition.
