Multiplayer issues

Hello

I just got this game like a week ago and I like it, but I'm having issues with multiplayer. When I join a friend's server, after a few min the game will freeze for us both, untill I leave the game and he can continue. Another friend runs a dedicated server, when I'm online, neither of them can join, and when they're online, I can't join them. When they try to join me, it says in-game that they dropped, and when I try to join me, it says something with "Following peer not responding: unknown username". When I try to host, they can't connect either. I've tried following guides for port forwarding, disabling firewall, disabling avg antivirus, tried connecting on another pc. Nothing helped. Anyone has any ideas to how to get it to work?
