Unexpected error occurred

Hello,

i just downloaded this game on Steam and always when trying to start the game, it instantly crashes with an error message "Unexpected error occurred. You can help us to solve the problem by posting the contents of the log file on the Factorio forums."

The 2nd problem i have is that i cant find any crashlogs in my game directory
Can any1 help me pls?

The crash log is not in the game directory but in the application directory and is named factorio-current.log.
On windows: %appdata%\Factorio
(usually C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Factorio)

This directory only contains another folder named "saves"

It seems to run now, after updating windows to the latest version.
