Desync when placing item on dedicated.

Hi all,

Im trying to find a solution to my problem with my dedicated server. When ever I place an item, example a burner drill or box, the client pauses, goes black, and reloads the map "due to desync". It doesnt happen when an item is picked up, only when placed.

I host through PingPerfect and have had them look into it as well to no avail.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I've tried generating my own map, deleting the map from my client and redownloading, etc etc. The problem effects anyone who plays on the server.

does this happen if you "host" the same save on your computer and have a friend join you? (just trying to figure out if its a corrupted save/world or tied to a specific peer)
Hosting a factorio server? Take a look at this || init script ||.

I have no tried hosting on my own machine yet. I will try as soon as I am back home. It does happen with any world save and regardless of who is connected.

might be a server issue then, what does the logs say?
Hosting a factorio server? Take a look at this || init script ||.

You are the third user having that problem, and all of them were hosting on PingPerfect.com.

As per viewtopic.php?f=49&t=20789 I'm also having the problem with Pingperfect however I have tested off of their systems and get the same problem so I don't think it's fair to tar this with oh it must be their issue.
