[0.12.25] Game wont load after update - missing steam file

So everything was working fine on the Steam version until I just now updated to the latest build of 0.12.25. After the update I tried launching the game via Steam and it would display the "launching game" screen for a second then in the Library it would say "running" for a second and then "syncing" and then nothing would happen it won't ever actually launch.

I tried going into the steam folder for Factorio and launching straight from the .exe and I get an error "program can't start because steam_api64.dll is missing from your computer". I'm not sure if this is the actual issue or it's just displaying that because I'm trying to launch it outside of using the Steam launcher.
Either way, it worked fine until 0.12.25. :/

Did you try validating the game (Right click game -> Properties -> Local Files -> Verify Integrity of Game Cache)? It should replace any missing files.

That did seem to work thanks. Can't believe I didn't think of that before. :/
