Hello!
I recently bought the game on Steam and made an account on the Factorio homepage and the forums.
It's pretty clear that if you bought Factorio through the website, you can obtain a Steam key and gain access to the Steam version.
However, is there a way for those who bought the game via Steam to download the vanilla (non-Steam) version of Factorio through the website?
In other words, is there a Steam -> Vanilla option?
Upgrade Code via Steam?

Not at the moment... However the devs said (in a topic I couldn't find) that they're planning this for the near future 
. They said that the 'factorio account' is going to be used for multiplayer.
