No Sound

Dear Fellow-Factorios,

I installed the steam - game, but have no in game music. I do have soundbites (e.g. mining sound etc).

I run an windows 8, 64x, specs are ok.
I have tried restarting my computer (I read this somewhere, after installing) but it does not change anything.

Can someone figure this out, because now, the gaming experience isn't all there and I would really like to get "fully operational".

Go to Options --> Sounds and check if Ambient volume is set properly. That slider includes the in-game music.

Okido, it seems to work (it is however a rather strange sound but ok)
