(Solved) [Steam] Game doesn't start due to outdated peace mod

I had factorio with some mods from the factorio website. i use steam as my game hub and used my steam key to get factorio on steam. i had a few mods installed. i unchecked my mods deleted factorio then downloaded through steam. now every time i play it i get to 2% on loading mods and i cant start the game. it keeps saying looking for peace mod. can somebody help me with this. i cant get my game to start anymore.

Also, ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling, it doesnt work. ive looked everywhere for this but cant find anything. i love this game but this is bullshit.

Hi davegroom7,

does the error appear when you load a savegame or start the game? If you have a savegame that has used mods before then you maybe need the mods to play the savegame again. If you want a "clean" new factorio then you should try to delete the user folder (C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Factorio). This will delete settings, mods, savegames and more but will maybe solve the problem with corrupt and remaining mods.

The start o fthe game. but clearing that folder seemed to have worked for me. thanks a ton
