[0.12.24] First time launching from steam and doesn't start.

Just bought the game because it was on steam and can't get the game the work.
When i press start it launches and after a while of not responding an error notification pops up and tells me to make a log file also it contunies making new factorio game windows till i press yes or no to make a log file then it closes all of them.

The crash log shows you've got an Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000 graphics card which may not meet the minimum system requirements for Factorio.

Can you try some of the solutions provided here: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=9300 and let me know the results.

I play on a laptop and it has an another better AMD graphics card maybe its causing the problem.
I cant get AMD card to be recognized by the factorio even it should change to the AMD when I start a game

Wanted to try the fix for the AMD graphics card but couldn't since my config file is 1 line only and it doesn't have that value

If your config.ini doesn't have that value just add it as a new value. Make sure you don't forget to include the [graphics] section header. If there is already such a section, add it to that section.

I see. In Steam, try to set Factorio launch options to "--force-opengl"
Alternatively, open AMD Catalyst Control Center, go to Switchable Graphics Application Settings and set High Performance graphics settings for Factorio.exe.
