When running on Windows 10 in windowed mode, repeatedly/continously resizing the window will result in a crash on my system. If I resize in one motion, no crash occurs. If I hold down the mouse button and wiggle to get to a specific size, I can crash it within seconds. This happens even while in the main menu.
Crash log attached.

Re: [0.12.22] Reproducible crash on Windows related to resizing
Thanks for the report.
We could not reproduce it, but we didn't try it on the latest beta drivers (that is what you are using, right?).
Try opposite of Solution 2 from https://forums.factorio.com/forum/vie ... f=7&t=9300 - set force-opengl to false, so you run Factorio on DirectX.
Also, I am interested what is your use case? Do you stream and need to resize Factorio to some specific size?

Re: [0.12.22] [posila] Reproducible crash on Windows related to resizing
Starting with the obvious one: the use case. There is no use case I discovered this problem while I was on the phone, focused on conversation, while holding my mouse button down because I was resizing Factorio (was playing windowed because I was watching video at the same time, was trying to get Factorio to fill the screen). Because I was focused on the conversation I held down the button way longer than I normally would, which is how I found the bug. I managed to reproduce it reliably, so I filed the report.
While trying to reproduce it now, I found out that it is not just resizing, I have to resize moving the mouse relatively slowly, pausing, then starting moving again, all the while holding down the button. Only then can I get it to crash reliably.
I cannot get it to crash while running DirectX (setting force-opengl to false).
I thought I was running AMD latest drivers, I just upgraded them to be sure, I am now running Radeon 15.12 drivers, crash still there. I've attached a log crashed using current drivers.
Just for the record, I've got no problems, Factorio is rock solid, the work-around is obvious

Thanks for clarification. I tried it again ... still no luck . I'll move this thread to 1 / 0 magic.
