I'm trying to load up an old save to get some screenshots before the support dies out for it but the game keeps crashing on load.

Go to https://www.factorio.com/download/stable
Download the 0.9.8 (alpha) zip package.
Unzip it.
Drop your save in the saves folder.
Start the game (from the bin folder) and take your screenshots.
If you want to upgrade your save to play in 0.12, you will need to re-save with 0.10.12 or 0.11.22.

Can you share the save? It shouldn't crash, so we should probably fix it.
