I was logged into a headless linux server - the only person on.
My Win64 factorio client crashed to desktop. I wasn't doing anything at the time, and had made no changes to the map - just stood around, and was working in Chrome in my other monitor.
The log mentions TransportBelt/Splitter, but I hadn't been doing anything with them. Most recent activity prior to this was running randomly around biter bases, uncovering a few new chunks.

Re: 0.12.22 Crash to desktop
As this is your server ([US|Vanilla|0.12.22] MP Server: 52.70.243.186),
can you post the server log aswell / did the server crash too?

Re: 0.12.22 Crash to desktop
This doesn't seem to be related to multiplayer but to some specific transport belt error.
Unfortunately this isn't enough info for me to know what went wrong, the save before the crash happens (if it is reproducible), would help.

Re: [0.12.22] [save-needed] Crash to desktop
I was in more or less the same situation. but I was playing locally not in multi player. I had just loaded a save, was walking around my small base then crashed to desktop.
