Smart Mining Drill?

i crossed my fingers and tried to put together a mod for a smart drill but i am not to good with scripting... so all i got was a green electric mining drill with slightly boosted stats :?
i found no obvious way to do it and figured maybe there was a way to script a menu or something??

i know it would not be used very often but if anyone knows if this is even possible then please tell me
the thought came to me when using bobs mods and the large area drills and of course mining galena (lead and nickel)
