[0.7.5] Train Schedule order

Post by Nemoder »

I'm running 0.7.5 on debian testing.

When assigning stops to the train schedule it always adds the new stop /above/ the current one selected in the list rather than under it which makes it really difficult to get the order correct when you have more than 2 stops on the same line.

This is not really a bug, because otherwise it would not be possible to add a station in the very front. Though if people agree that it is not intuitive, we can change it.

I'm not sure why you would want to add one to the front of the queue, generally if you have to change the schedule it's easier to remove all of them and then add new ones in the order you want. Another method might be to include a button to bump an order up or down in the list.

Or just to grep a station to the right place. :) ok, that's currently not part of development. :)
Well, if I had to choose, then add a station after the current selected. More intuitive.
Cool suggestion: Eatable MOUSE-pointers.

0.8:
New inserted station to the train schedule are inserted under (instead of above) the currently selected station.

Moving to resolved for the next release section.
