Hi! I just bought the game and paid extra for the scenarios... and went to play "scenario-pack/Transport belt madness" and also Tight Spot. I get the following error after doing Start new campaign / Play'
..Data/Roaming/Factorio/temp/currently-playing/control.lua:4: ...Factorio/temp/currently-playing/transportbeltmadness.lua:4: attempt to index global 'game' (a nil value)
..Data/Roaming/Factorio/temp/currently-playing/control.lua:4: ...Factorio/temp/currently-playing/tightspot.lua:56: attempt to index global 'game' (a nil value)
Also, when trying to load scenario-pack/supply, I get the 3rd screenshot
..Data/Roaming/Factorio/temp/currently-playing/control.lua:443: attempt to index global 'story' (a nil value)
I'm using 0.12.16 x64 on Windows 10.
Also - I thought there were supposed to be 3 scenarios with the Furnace Attendant level?

...but you don't have experimental updates enabled in the settings and are thus using a 0.11 scanario pack, right?tetryon wrote:Hi! Transport belt madness, Tight Spot, Supply Challenge—that's three, even though two show up as campaigns.tetryon wrote:Also - I thought there were supposed to be 3 scenarios with the Furnace Attendant level?

Re: scenario-pack (Furnace Attendant) - throws error on load
Yes, this is the problem of incompatibility of Factorio 0.12 (currently still marked as experimental) version and old (marked as stable) 0.11 scenario pack.
To solve it, you need to enable the experimental updates (Main Menu->Options->Other Settings->Enable experimental updates), this way, you will get the updated version of scenario pack and it should work for you.

Ahh many thanks!!
Perhaps the "Enable experimental updates" should be on by default for experimental versions of the game?

Yes, but what about stable candidates, that can become stable?tetryon wrote:kovarex wrote:Yes, this is the problem of incompatibility of Factorio 0.12 (currently still marked as experimental) version and old (marked as stable) 0.11 scenario pack.
