Hi all,
i'm new in the game and i have one problem.

I have a train that transport Iron/copper plate from Site A(load) to Site B(unload).
There is a method for keep in the train only 100 copper plates and 100 iron plates? This means that if the inserter takes 5 iron and 3 copper at B when the train go to A the inserter fill the cargo with 5 iron and 3 copper and no more.
At the moment the inserters full my train (at A) with plates and the cargo is unbalanced (ex. 900 iron plates and 100 copper plates).

You can limit the total cargo with the red X, and you can lock specific slots with the middle mouse button - the same way you would in your toolbelt.
This should allow you to lock these specific amounts.

Ah ok but i want use other slot for other resorce. With the red X i can't.

If you know how much of each resource you want you can simply lock the slots.
If you want to have 100 Iron, 100 Copper, and leave the rest open for any resource - that's not currently possible (at least with base game, maybe there are mods that allow this, but I don't know them).

you can lock specific slots with the middle mouse button - the same way you would in your toolbelt.

If you filter the cargo wagon slots by clicking on them with the middle mouse button you can decide what item can go into that slot. You can set different items/resources for different slots of the cargo wagon, e.g. 5 slots for iron plates and 10 for copper plates.
