Long description

This mod quite simply adds 3 more tiers to the Robot Speed tech tree, and makes the bots fast enough to keep up with tier 2 power armour with 6 exoskeleton legs.(this is what I plan to make this mod capable of)

If you want to not research them all, but want to have a clean technology tree, simply navigate to the data.lua file and delete the tiers that you do not wish to have.

Warning

I did have issues at one point with disabling the mod not working. If you have researched one of the new robot speeds, and then load the game without this mod, the top speed will still be in effect.
To fix this problem simply execute the commands in the console (@):

• /c game.player.force.technologies["logistic-robot-speed-5"].researched = false
• /c game.player.force.technologies["logistic-robot-speed-5"].researched = true

This will basically redefine the robot speed.

ALL feedback is greatly appreciated! - What could be improved? Is it balanced?

If anyone knows how to make the robot speed faster than 100% please let me know via PM. (I am unsure if 100% means the maximum or if it is a threshold for when the game starts to not cope with incredible speeds)

From what i have seen looking at those links from my phone, it should work just fine. I think i have solved that minor issue, so sit tight and stay tuned! I am releasing a cargo size version later today too. All ready to release when i get home.

I was trying to avoid adding extra robots and ports (considering this is my 6th mod)

So i am unsure if they are compatible, they could just overwrite each other in terms of research names, but i need to know what i can change my end, as i am still a noob at modding (I am yet to learn lua)

Mhmm, i dont know. I dont have looked in your Code, because i dont need. I have my Codes etc. That is enough.

Well, err you probably know a lot more about modding than myself... I am yet to code anything with Lua. From what I have done so far, I am pretty proud with myself, though.

Just so everybody knows, this works with 0.12.20 without any need to update.
