Can someone make a mod that adds 2 new craftable items: Brick Surface and Concrete Surface, costing 9 Brick and 9 Concrete respectively, but being carriable (after it's made) as a single item by a Constructio Robot, so that we can have our factories paved 9 times faster?
Strikes me as a solution to a serious problem, that'd be simple to implement for an experienced modder.
Make 9xBrick/Concrete that covers 3x3 area

Re: Make 9xBrick/Concrete that covers 3x3 area
Looking at the code it looks like all tiles are hardcoded to be a fixed size. I don't think it's possible to do just like that.
You could make a mod that places a 3x3 area with concrete when placed, but that's a bit more complicated.

Waste of bytes : P

Nothing in that post indicates that your mod enables the Construction Bots to carry more than 1 Brick or Concrete per trip.Kane wrote:I don't know if anyone even uses this mod but I made this:

Sorry it was made so people can pace it themselves a lot easier without having to be stuck doing billion bots or 1000 trips lol. Just offering a small temp solution.Peter34 wrote:Nothing in that post indicates that your mod enables the Construction Bots to carry more than 1 Brick or Concrete per trip.Kane wrote:I don't know if anyone even uses this mod but I made this:

Now the real request comes in; having construction bot lay down more than 1 tile at a time.Peter34 wrote:How do I get my Construction Bots to press plus?ratchetfreak wrote:how about pressing plus on the numpadPeter34 wrote:Can someone make a mod that adds 2 new craftable items: Brick Surface and Concrete Surface, costing 9 Brick and 9 Concrete respectively, but being carriable (after it's made) as a single item by a Constructio Robot, so that we can have our factories paved 9 times faster?

I do mods. Modding wiki is friend, it teaches how to mod. Api docs is friend too...
I also update mods, some of them even work.
Recently I did a mod tutorial.
