[0.12.9][posila] failed to create display!

Post by grimduck »

I upgrade from [0.12.6] to [0.12.9] as the 7 and 8 version did not work on my laptop (2 graphics card issue) and now I have a new/old problem on the [0.12.9].

On all versions of factorio I've played I could sometime not start factorio with the message 'failed to create display!'. A small of to the side box would flicker white and after a few attempt I would get the message. Killing some processes or rebooting always helped the problem.

This time it is slightly different, the white box is bigger and centered in the screen. In previous version my factorio opens off screen, long standing issue that I found not really important.
Rebooting does not help this time.

I really hope you guys can find something for next version I understand the problem but really would like to use the latest version.

Anything else I need to try let me know.
