Maybe you can build an A.I that will help you out with things like researching without being next to your structure. that adds up everything you have in your storage (call it an A.I storage make it really easy to build and it can be upgraded to interact with robots).

like usally you have to be next to a structure to build something maybe this can help by building it without being next to it

Hey friend you seem brand new to the game. I suggest you don't make any posts here till you launched a rocket into space. Why? Because there are construction bots that do exactly what you said in the game already.

It's considered polite to play the game beat it once then suggest things unless there is something game breaking.

Now you're describing item crafting from your inventory. At the very least you're describing the logistics network.

I think with "A.I." he means an avatar-like thing, like a robot.

Please explain more, like so this cannot be discussed nor compared to similar ideas.
