A Few versions ago i discovered this bug that if a crafting recipe has a crafting time of less than 1 game tick, no energy or ingredients are required to produce the product. While this is not achievable in vanilla, in mods such as Dytech or Bob's Mods, which add very fast machines and additional modules. This allows for creation of items that you may not even be able to craft the prerequisites for, which i would say is probably not intended ;) . This works on assembling machines and mining drills (and probably some other things, but I haven't tested). Has anyone else experienced this or is it just me? I have a decent computer, so I doubt that it's lag.
I am playing on version 0.12.7, but I first saw the bug in 0.12.4. I am operating Windows 7.

Could you do some minimal case (example) of this?

This is only a suposition but I think this is linked with [0.12.4] Instantaneous recipes works improperly.
Is it still the case with factorio 0.12.7 ?

Well, the truth is, that the game doesn't behave properly with 0 second crafting.

The avoid these problems, the minimum energy_required for a recipe is 0.001, which is enough for instant crafting for sure.
