Since this past week my friend keeps getting the (My ip adress) is not a valid address (No such host is known. ). when we connect over tunngle. He also get this error when trying to connect to anyone in general.
We tried every possible fix and we can still play all other games over the same LAN.
Are we missing some.
Any insight would be appreciated.

Re: Multiplayer error not a valid address (No such host is known
Are you referring to anyone running Factorio? He also get this error when trying to connect to anyone in general.
My best guess is an interplay between Factorio's new client-server model and how Tunngle works.
Short background: Tunngle installs an additional network adapter in Windows and bridges it with your "real" network adapter. It can thus add its VPN headers for creating a network that appears to be a LAN but runs on top of the Internet.
My recommendation:
1) Try running Factorio in peer-to-peer mode again (the latest version has a checkbox when you start the server). If that proves unsuccessful, try:
2) Check the order of network adapters at your friend's (and your) machine. Tunngle must be the first adapter. If it is not, change order and reboot.
3) If that still proves unsuccessful, try not using Tunngle (I know this is not the preferred option). If you do that, make sure that you (the server) forward the necessary ports in your router.
