If anyone has a idea for a custom map for the server let me know. I will continue to not support mods on the server *yet* but anything map wise we can do. I want to keep this server as open as possible for now. Once I'm confident in headless server stability I'll consider starting a second server with mods if requested.

Status page halfway works again. Still gotta fix the player list but that should be done soon. Gl hf

EDIT:Fixed the online players on the status page.

Time for a new map? We have launched a few rockets.
If you were interested in using any mods, RSO (Resource Overhaul) would probably be a good one to generate ores further from the starting point, and force the use of more trains, maybe slow down progression. I'm thinking once the map is generated you can even uninstall it (RSO) and noone would have to have it installed to join the server? Not sure though.
Marathon mod would increase the length of time it took to "complete" a map, makes everything require more resources, which I think would be ideal having lots of people playing on one map.

If you add RSO it needs to stay installed. No ore will spawn after you remove it.

Yeah you're right, new ore would be generated using original rules.

As I currently don't have access to a computer to create a new map if you want to create one please do. Basicly just generate a map with whatever settings you feel would be fun and then upload it to this thread as an attachment. Regarding mods I will not be running mods on this particular server until automatic mod download to clients is implemented. In the future if I get donations or just money in general I will start a second server and that one will be the one with mods.

I'm not sure if you know this, but,

The server has been down since friday after the update, because there's a bug with interacting with logic circuit conditions in objects like smart inserters and lamps. This bug causes desyncs, and sometimes map corruption. The latter has happened. While the bug has been reported on, fixed and waiting for release, it would be nice if a backup was restored or a new map made so people could continue playing. Thanks

Hey there! I'll be hopping on as soon as I can figure out the port forwarding issue I'm having, so save me a spot!

I'm a new player, 27, and looking to play with others. I did some of the campaign and figured I'd hit up multiplayer mode :)

Just wanted server owners to be aware that there is a griefer going around and using deconstruction robots to destroy entire bases. Forgot to check logs before I restarted the server a few times to rollback to a safe autosave but if and when it happens again I'll have a name and IP to go with it.

New map! New map is up with just default settings for anyone that just wants to screw around and have a bit of fun. Side note you should no longer have to port forward to join the server. Good luck and have fun!
