[0.12.4] Continuous Zoom is too fast

Regarding the change of zoom buttons in 0.12.4:

Zooming works comfortably also when mapped on buttons, as holding the button continuously zooms in/out instead of doing just one small zoom step.

Since continuous zooming was added it is quite hard for me to properly use the zoom function.
As one player in mentioned thread I also have a mouse with broken scroll wheel and thus decided to use buttons instead. (I mapped it to "shift + mouse-button-4" / "shift + mouse-button-5" but also tried using keyboard only).
Now whenever I press my zoom buttons on the minimap the zooming happens so quickly, I have no control over how far to zoom out/in.
Zooming on the character happens slower and does work, but still I cannot get to the specific zoom level I want without zooming back and forth until I randomly get what I want.

Would you mind adding a config entry for the smooth-zooming or maybe another control option (another button) to zoom step by step?

It zooms at a very reasonable rate for me when using Shift + mouse-button-4 and -5. Maybe it's a problem with your mouse settings? Probably the repeat rate is set too high.

There was an issue of zoom speed depending on the UPS (game speed), this is now fixed for the 0.12.5.

Actually, I believe that he is referring to continuous zooming in the chart mode.

I turned slowed down the continuous zoom in the chart mode for 0.12.5
