Epilepsy inducing screen effects
The way screen keeps flashing red when you take damage is really hard to look at even as i'm not diagnosed with any epilepsy. I can't even imagine what this flashing would do for others that actually do.
Sure, player doesn't take damage 99% of the time of playing but there are times that it does. One way is to stand in an acid pool or fire, other that i recently discovered is to stand near uranium vein in Krastorio2.
There are other ways you can tell player that he's taking damage, you don't have to flash the whole screen to do it!

There are other effects, that could induce epilepsy, for example the flashing/blinking warnings
Red flashing:

viewtopic.php?f=6&t=87789 A checkbox to turn of red flashing effect.
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=68493 Red screen flashing when your character takes damage
Workaround:

No power flashing:

About blinking in conjunction with the power switch:

My personal opinion:
This is one of those suggestions that have no direct gameplay value, but needs to be done to prevent possible harm from people.
Red flashing:

Hey, I actually was diagnosed with epilepsy, and I have to say I never experienced any seizure with Factorio in 6 years of gameplay. Epilepsy seizure triggers are IMO important to take care of, but if there isn't any trigger... I don't see the point mentioning this in the thread title, and pushing more and more suggestions that aren't in any way related to epilepsy seizures.

Now if you still think that this is an issue only for risk group people, i would say otherwise. It's really unwatchable.
(Of course for full effect you need to see it in fullscreen)

Being unwatchable and triggering epilepsy seizure are two distinct issues

I also showed this (with clear warning) to my Steam friend who has epilepsy. He had to stop it after 1-2 seconds.

C'mon, that's so rude... If you can report seizure while playing factorio, make a report. If you hate a visual effect in a modded game, just play vanilla?

Rude what? That effect (player being damaged) is from vanilla. This topic is just a neutral suggestion well fit for this forum.
I didn't propose any alternatives because honestly any effect is better, doesn't really matter to me which one the creative developers want to choose. They can flash screen borders, show a yellow or red dialog top center of screen or anything.

+1. This is especially problematic on the Mountain Fortress map, as being near the void area when taking damage will flash the void red rapidly.
