I'ma and my comrade request floor, as minimal.
Also: table with four slots, chairs, that on click changes human's direction to its direction.
Beds, nuff said?
Cool suggestion: Eatable MOUSE-pointers. Have you used the Advanced Search today? Need help, question? FAQ -Wiki -Forum help I still like small signatures...
For me also related is the need of the character to eat/drink and the way he spawns again after death.

I don't understand how those are related, but anyway, I think decoration items are something the game is very much lacking in currently. I would love to be able to make floors out of various types of materials and actually furnish a nice decorative house with shrubs and fountains and other stuff. You know, stuff that is less industry related and more home-related and for making things personalized
The relation is, that this leads to a topic, which can be namend "throne room", "fortress", "headquarter", "home base". This is something which
- must be defended under all circumstances (cause it is eventually used to respawn)
- can be used to store expensive items
- safes you from horrible biter overruns
- connects you with the earth or other planets (see also marketplace!)
- and many more...
And to something called "Observation tower", "control room", "satellite". This is the possibility to switch into god-mode and can be used to control parts of the map/your factory from one point. https://forums.factorio.com/forum/vie ... =Satellite
This all can be seen in this simple picture.

I quite like the idea of being able to place floors down (I know this has been discussed before and I think I may have even seen a mod which allows it, not 100% on that though). Obviously I understand this isn't as high up the priority list as bug fixes (which we all appreciate your very hard work on making the game more stable, and therefore more enjoyable to play) but maybe something for the future.
Haven't had news from RoadWorks' creator in a little while but his last update said that he was working on making the mod multiplayer compatible, so I'd expect to see an updated version soon
